Meet the Commissioners - Dr Raymond Mullan OBE

Dr Raymond Mullan OBE appointed 1 October 2009, was Director & Chief Executive of Newry & Kilkeel Institute of Further & Higher Education from 1991 to 2007 and was Interim Director and Chief Executive of Belfast Metropolitan College during 2008 and 2009.  He is also a lay Commissioner of the Northern Ireland Judicial Appointments Commission and is a non-executive Director of the Southern Health & Social Care Trust.  Dr Mullan has also served on the Northern Ireland Economic Development Forum and is a member of Newry Chamber of Commerce and Trade.  He is an Economics graduate of Queens University, Belfast, holds a Masters Degree from the University of Ulster and is a Doctor of the University of the University of Ulster.  Dr Mullan received an OBE in 2000 for his services to education in N Ireland.
